Back to school...

So I'm back. My life has exploded all over my room, so I'm going to spend the rest of today taking care of that.
My first class was today, I'm taking a fitness class for the month of January. Each week, Monday through Thursday, we cycle through a whole bunch of different workouts, like Zumba, cycling, and stuff like that. Today, we just did a fitness baseline, to see where we're starting, and at the end of the month, we'll do another assessment to see if anything has changed.
I'm going to start mapping out my meals (aka not eating 20 chicken nuggets on a Sunday night because I'm wasted... Cough last night cough).
I got a nice little new notebook to record everything in.

Also, I'm a month away from being purge-free for a year, and it kind of makes me want to cry a little bit. I never thought it would be possible.

Thank you for all your beautiful comments on my posts, they really brighten my day. :) I'm awful with commenting, but I'm going to try to get back into it.

@Lee; Here's to freaking hoping that this year will be better. I have faith. This past year was better than the two years before (for me, at least).
@Tali; I would LOVE it if you would send me your routines! I've been trying to get back into lifting forever and just can't seem to stick to anything. Once this class starts kicking my ass and all the New Years "Gotta Work Out/Bikini Body 2k15" bitches have left the gym, I'm going to try to get back into the gym as well!
@Kitty; Yeah, bread&carbs are actually some of the absolute worst triggers for my heartburn. Same with tomatoes and tomato byproducts (ketchup, sauce), beer, and chocolate... So basically my normal diet, haha. :) I just have to be more conscious of what I'm eating and if it's really worth it.

  1. I cringed while reading about those Chicken Nuggets, because it made me remember the time I got so drunk I ate an entire 1 pound bag of pizza rolls. Yikes...Every time I drink, I swear to myself I'll never do it again. Needless to say, that's not working out very well. Your class sounds like a great workout, with some great variety to it! Congratulations on your almost-one-year freedom, that's truly so amazing, and I am so happy for you!

  2. I had a big ole comment written up but blogger ate it up, so here it goes again:
"My life has exploded all over my room, so I'm going to spend the rest of today taking care of that." very well said. very eloquently put and all that.
    1. good luck with your fitness classes
    2. at the sake of sounding like one of those insane Zumba nuts (I am): I ABSOLUTELY LOVE ZUMBA. it is one of the biggest highlights of my entire day if I go to a class.

oh, oh, here are the routines i'm currently obsessed with (we do them in class, and if it makes you watch them - it would mean lots to me):

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WuLqz1dmvzc <--Mena La Pera. similar routine we have. I actually spent some time looking for the routine that is closest to ours.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c4cd3PIryj8 <--La Zumbera. also similar to ours.

    3. GOOD JOB CHARLIE ON BEING NEARLY A YEAR FREE. how does it feel? I think that you've been more purge free than I am then (it would've been a good 1,5-2 years by now but I had about 4-5 slips during that time, but still! it's pretty good.)

    4. I absolutely fucking love you. no seriously.

  3. now, comment reply to the comment you left on my blog:

I think as we become smaller, the changes are much more obvious too.
    plus, people really are morons.
when i'm in a losing phase, nobody ever comments on it. it's only when i'm maintaining that weight and around 6 months later, someone is like "YOU GOT SO THIN. WHAT THE HELL" and by that point, I just stare at them like they've grown a third head.
PS. 5lbs heavier & 2 sizes smaller? can I please have this? i'll be forever grateful. can I have this towards my ass? I want to fit into my stupid pants (currently a US 8, but my older pants are a US 6. I once briefly fitted size 4 clothing. what I wouldn't give to be a 2 though...a 2 in pants! of course, my ass refuses to agree with this).
I think I gained some form of muscle. despite being around 3kg (nearly 7lbs - half a bloody stone) heavier than normal due to Minnie Maud and crap, I have the same measurements as I did when I was around the high point of the normal range I was around last year. around a 138-142 pound range, so same measurements as the 142lb part. not much, but it's something to work with. ;)
besides, I love it when this happens. it means if I ever get to 132lbs again, I will have a smaller waist. hopefully, a smaller bum too. I hate my fucking arse so much. can I just have liposuction there? (I think we've established this twice).
